The story

Maeve harvests bitterwort, the plant said to cure nightmares, in a place where few who enter return whole. When a Sigil Knight appeared in her garden carrying a vial of Dragon's Blood, she told him the price was his soul, then gave him the weapons he needed to survive paying it. Eadric left Baneclaw on her table when it was over. 'The price of sacrifice is never fully paid.'

Appearance

A weathered woman with precise, work-worn hands, living alone in a cottage among the cairns and mists of the Moorlands.

Signature

Baneclaw, a jagged blade forged from a fallen dragon's talon, and a pendant of twisted silver that wards off possession.
